DAY 1

Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, you travel through Mid Atlas Mountains with changing landscape and changing culture toward the desert of Merzouga. We pass through the cedar woods of the middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou an important handicraft centre specialised in the work of cedar wood. After the Zad pass (2,178m/7,146ft) you arrive in Midelt for lunch. Afternoon you will drive towards Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley dotted with palm trees. Continuation to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and over night in desert camp.

DAY 2

Erg Chebbi

Live a full experience desert day.

After breakfast, camels are waiting for you for a trek in the red dunes of Erg Chebbi. With your experienced cameleer you will enjoy the serenity and silence of the desert.
Before noon, we will leave in 4×4 for an excursion in the desert with lunch.
2ND night in your luxury desert camp.

DAY 3

Merzouga – Erfoud -Todra gorges –Dades gorges- Roses valley – Skoura

Early morning before the sunrise, return by camels to Merzouga. Departure to Rissani and Erfoud in order to visit the treatment plant marble fossilized before continuing Tinjdad palm groves. Arrival in Todra Gorges for lunch. In the afternoon you will drive to Dades gorges via Boumalne and the Dades valley. The track road crosses Roses valley with its kasbah and ksours, beautiful nice landscapes before getting to the huge palmgrove of Skoura before sunset (about 40 mn drive). Dinner and night in a charming guesthouse in the palmgrove.

DAY 4

Skoura – Marrakech

After a nice homemade breakfast, we will leave the beautiful palm grove to reach Ouarzazate (40 mn drive). Enjoy a full visit of Ouarzazate with the Movie Museum, Tiffeltout and Taourirt Kasbah (built in XVII century by the powerful Glaoui tribe), or the famous cinema studios.
We will leave Ouarzazate after lunch to take the road to Marrakech, passing through Tichka Mountain pass (2 260 m) before arriving at the end of the day.
